Sleeping six in luxury, the Lake District holiday cottage rental Farrier House in the village of Portinscale, Cumbria was built in the first half of the 19th Century, and beautifully renovated by Los Angeles designer and artist Yavone Evans in 2015.

Farrier House has a modern classical motif that preserves the original quirkiness of the property. There are three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a bright and airy dual aspect living room with fabulous views over Derwentwater and the Fells.

The kitchen has everything you'd need - washer/dryer, fridge freezer, dishwasher, Nespresso, wine cooler and lots of small appliances.

Farrier House is equipped with BT Infinity broadband, Sony TVs with Netflix, a Blu-ray player and high end wireless audio. It is centrally heated.

Farrier House occupies the top two floors of a four storey building. It has its own entrance and reserved parking.
